Last night I took Amanda to "Girl's Night Out" at American Fork Hospital. The Hospital does this every year to promote women's health and wellness. They provide vendors with booths and incentives to get women to be more aware of their health and well-being. This year's guest speaker was Hilary Weeks!
I could say volumes about the effect and blessing this amazing woman's music has had on my life and Amanda's. Suffice it to say, her inspired music has helped us through some of the most difficult times of our lives.
Getting to see her in person was a gift. Getting to meet her, talk with her and actually get a hug from her was beyond amazing. Sharing it with Mandy was priceless.

This next one is a song that inspires me to think positively and be happy. Partly, because I really HAVE danced in the rain...it was fun and made me laugh.
Thank-you, Hilary Weeks, for being as wonderful as we imagined you'd be! It was just about as perfect as a "Girl's Night Out" could get. Great inspiration, exceptional music, wonderful women, and sharing it with one of my very best friends...aren't I lucky that she's also my daughter??? What more could a mama ask for?
