In the Beginning...

I've made the attempt at setting this up several times. FINALLY, I think I'm getting it together.

Our menagerie consists of me(Annette or Netty), Kevin, Amanda, Jackie, Freeway and Rover - the cats, and Gracie, Jake, and Milo - the dogs. We just moved from an 1800 sqft house on a half acre in Prescott Valley, AZ; to a three bedroom apartment. So, life really is a little whacky, and sometimes we feel as if we should be carted off to "Happy Acres".

We're "officially" in Boise , Idaho until June of 2007 while Kevin finishes training for his job. At the end of our time here, we'll pack up the entire show and move the Webster-ZOO to the Lehi, Utah area.

Our transition to Boise went much more smoothly than we expected. Our house in Prescott Valley sold quickly. We are extremely grateful for both these blessings. Although leaving Arizona was more difficult than we imagined, we know we're in the right place - doing the right thing for our family. So, other than Jackie breaking her arm for the FOURTH time, our transition from Arizona to Idaho has been as smooth as possible.

We are settling into our routine with work, school, Church, piano lessons, and other activities. Amanda is singing with the "Honor's Choir" at school. Earlier this month they sang at the State Capitol for the governor's inaugeration. It was an honor, and Mandy was very excited to do it.

The girls went ice skating for the first time this weekend.

Now Amanda wants skating lessons, so we're looking into that. I was grateful that Jackie wasn't as interested...given the fact that she's only been out of her latest cast for three weeks.

She really wants to learn to ski, but I don't know if my nerves can handle the strain. We'll see if we can find a ski-suit made of bubble-wrap. Then I might consider it.

We'll be taking a trip to Utah over the long President's Day weekend. We want to start exploring the area and see where we'd like to live. That way we'll have a better idea of what's available when we start to do our serious house-shopping in the Spring.

Some things stay the same...others change enough to keep life an adventure...

Netty,
How very cool that you set this up. I am trying something similar with Todd, but haven't been too successful as of yet...
Glad to hear that Manda is singing. Singing will give her great pleasure for the rest of her life...I hope that Jackie will pursue something 'artsy' too, although it sounds like she's pretty much made an art of breaking her arm. =-)
Send the kids and Kevin (and you too) my love and even though we didn't do much together while you were here, things seem to be more empty in AZ now that you have moved.
